This project featured the conversion of an existing two-story, 25,000 square-foot office building into the headquarters for American Federation of Musicians Local 47. The project includes eight state-of-the-art practice studios.
Nickelodeon Animation Studio and Parking Structure
A new five-story, 110,000 square-foot production building and a new five-story 450-car parking garage for Nickelodeon’s 25th Anniversary. The project includes a design-build media mesh system to display animation on the exterior of the building.

This project is a 364,000 square foot, 7-story, Class-A, LEED Gold Certified office building. The project features a design-build exterior curtain wall, a separate design-build parking structure with 1,334 parking stalls.
800 S. Flower Parking Structure
This 178,444 square foot project was designed to accommodate 545 vehicles on 4 levels including 20 exterior spaces on-site at ground level. What makes this project unique is the use of a green screen system with live plant material on the most visible elevations of the structure.
2600 West Olive Avenue
This design-assist, fast-track project consists of a six-story steel moment frame office tower over five levels of parking for 515 cars. McCormick built out the interior spaces for Disney Development, Central Casting, Vidcom Post Production and K-PWR Radio.
La Mesa Village Plaza
A mixed-use project that consists of a 144,000 square-foot, two-level, subterranean parking structure, 120 luxury condominiums, 26,000 square feet of retail space, and three steel-framed office buildings totaling 70,000 square feet. The project site covers 5.6 acres.
Buena Vista Plaza
This 122,044 square-foot project was a build-to-suit, fast-track project for the Walt Disney Company. The 11-story concrete ductile frame structure includes 7-stories of office space and 4-stories of structured parking.
Angelus Temple Sanctuary
The renovation of this sanctuary included seismic retrofit and architectural restoration. McCormick Construction managed the upgrade of the acoustical and audio/visual systems as well as the redesign of the stage. This building is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.
CBS Radio
This 60,000 square-foot project for CBS included the build-out of several studios including those for KRTH, KNX, and KFWB along with new state-of-the-art newsrooms. The project’s MEP systems were all delivered on a design-build basis.
