The seismic retrofit of an 11-story, 330,000 square-foot, brick and terra cotta building, supported by a concrete and steel superstructure. Structural modifications required extensive use of full height shotcrete shear walls on two elevations of the building. The project renovation included asbestos abatement and reconstruction of 80% of the exterior façade. McCormick also completed a full interior build-out after the completion of the seismic upgrades.
