Nickelodeon Animation Studio + Parking Structure


New five story 110,000 square foot production building and new five story 450 car parking garage, opened in time for Nickelodeon’s 25th Anniversary. The campus infill project is surrounded by tight urban constraints. The office building portion is a design assist ConXtech moment frame. The exterior closure consists of high performance window wall and architectural white cement and aggregate GFRC panels. The parking structure is a design build precast double T system utilizing white cement and aggregate in the precast structural members to match the GFRC finish on the office building. The project includes a design build media mesh system to display animation on the exterior of the building.
