Kress Lofts


This rehabilitation to existing loft condominiums consisted of common-wall and partition soundproofing, floor-to-floor soundproofing, exterior window and curtain wall weatherproofing, a new roofing system, and complete pointing and re-grouting of original exterior brick. The work was done while existing tenants maintained occupancy.

Angelus Temple Sanctuary


The renovation of this sanctuary included seismic retrofit and architectural restoration. McCormick Construction managed the upgrade of the acoustical and audio/visual systems as well as the redesign of the stage. This building is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places.

I.A.T.S.E. Local 728


An extensive remodel project of an existing Red Cross facility into a state of the art union hall for the lighting workers in the film industry. The building was stripped down to half of its original wood frame and was rebuilt with structural steel and structural wood framing members.

The seismic retrofit of an 11-story, 330,000 square-foot, brick and terra cotta building, supported by a concrete and steel superstructure.
