Armand Hammer Museum of Art and Cultural Center

Overview

This project featured a massive concrete and steel structure built in 18 months on a fast-track program. The two levels of the museum and support facilities include 5 galleries, an auditorium, library, bookstores, and a grand courtyard. Included in the project was the remodel and retrofit of the six levels of the adjacent Occidental Petroleum headquarters building. The Occidental Petroleum tower remained in operation throughout the construction process.
