Rand Schrader Clinic

Overview

This project was the relocation of the AIDS Comprehensive Outpatient Center which contains examination and treatment rooms, on-site laboratory and diagnostic facilities, and administrative offices.  The three-story, moment-resistant, steel frame building was disassembled and transported on trailers to a new site one-half mile from its original location.  It was reassembled and re-commissioned on a new foundation.  This design-build, fast-tracked project was the first phase of the $1 billion Los Angeles County and USC Medical Center Expansion Program.
