Kaiser Woodland Hills Seismic Repair

Structural remediation work to 341 moment frame connections five stories above and one below grade for 500, 000 square feet of the hospital. During preconstruction, the team mapped out every utility located above the corridors and ceilings in the hospital and every beam to column steel connection was ultra sonically tested to determine its structural integrity. An elaborate conditioned air system was installed to insure construction fumes were removed from the hospital without impacting the facilities’ own air conditioning system.
