City of Hope Ambulatory Care Clinic

The project is the new construction of a 94,000 square foot ambulatory care clinic addition consisting of a three-story structure with a reinforced concrete basement. In keeping with the hospital theme, composite precast architectural concrete, steel, and aluminum window and curtain walls, and aluminum panels were used on the exterior. The building wraps an interior courtyard between the new and existing clinic buildings. The interior functions include patient examination and treatment rooms, dental suite, oncology, assorted offices, and laboratories, as well as numerous support facilities. Each floor contains a glass enclosed employee lounge and spacious lobby areas. (OSHPD)
